Top Thrill Dragster

This makes for the best 30 seconds of thrills in your roller coaster life ! On the way down, the ground comes at you so fast. (I love that twist too.) The problem is, in order to get this 30 seconds you have to wait 2 hours ! Most of the queue is not under cover either; hug. The ride breaks down a lot too. Try to get to it when the line is not real long. The last time that I rode it was at night ! That was great and the line only lasted 20 minutes.

Wow! You gotta ride this one for the adrenaline rush! Smooth ride with one awesome view of the point, and when you get off you think, "Did I really just ride that?"

Best launch, nice airtime, great themeing, insane height and speed, and this monster it loud! Great ride. It's my #1 and I have ridden over 83 coasters

i love this ride more than any other ride because it kicks ass!

One of the best in my opinion. First stretch is awsome. While speeding up seems though as if it couldn't go any faster, yet it speed up even more. The ride up doesn't last long but once at the top you can almost see forever. Then you have to fall and spin the train is similar to mellennium force's train, with nothing to hold on to. We waited in line for about two hours for a ride that seems to last under a minuite. The ride was a thrill and I would wait in line again to ride.

fun, fast, thrilling, and speedy I loved it

One scary ride, but too short for the thrill. Pretty much the ride is over in like a couple of seconds. But anyways the scary part is when you are almost being launch because it is unexpected. But anyways the ride is pretty cool you up in a 405-foot drop and you can see everything in the park for a split second or so. The drop is just amazing even though it feels so short. Hmmmm pretty much I almost peed in my pants when riding the thing hehehe. The line actually moves quick because Cedar point has five carts running at the same time. A must ride

1st things 1st. Fun factor... you will never have so much adrenaline pumping in your life. The speed, the height. The ride was so quick and height its still all a blurr to me. It just makes me wanna go on it more again. The set up of the line is great. You are already in the ride before your on it. You can watch the whole ride in the line and there is some intersting facts on the walls on the way to your drop. Themeing is cool considering what else can you theme. Maybe Lochness Monster....IDK. Overall the ride is awesome. You just have to ride it for yourself

TTD steals my #1 spot!!! It has the best launch, the best theming with the lights, best quene with the ride all around you! So it is #1!!!!!!!!!!

Just as most people are saying, this is the best roller coaster ever! I'll never forget driving on the Causeway and seeing that train shoot up the tower for the first time. Nor will I forget that feeling right when the light turns green, and you are G O N E. Everything about it is just perfect. It has great vertical g's when you curve up, come out of the drop, and even the twist. The drop isn't really like a traditional drop with airtime, you're really pushed down into your seat. But the twist is really fun, and faster than it looks. The view at the top is AMAZING! And I even got to ride a rollback, only on my 6th time! It was so awesome, best experience I've ever had on a coaster. Go to Cedar Point, ride this ride! It is OUTSTANDING!

Like adrug, you leave your body. Its like your watching the train ahead of you with you in it. Amazing.

The only thing I will say about this ride is that the launch just gets faster and faster and faster!

I finally get a trip out to Ohio and such, and we head to TTD for the first ride of the day at CP. The ride short-shots and we spend about 2 hours waiting for them to fix the darn ride. (And it broke down again later, then the cable snapped even later, fun.) Later, it gets running and we get on it. The themeing was fun, the queue was annoying because they weren't letting people in it and so it just ran outside along the fence. The ride was fast, I liked that, the ride was tall, but you only get to see how high you are for about 3 seconds. Basically, you can describe this one-trick pony like this: Top Thrill Dragster! It's Fast! It's Tall! It's... over? The ride is fun and all, but I would only wait maybe 30 minutes for it again. It was just way over-hyped. Magnum totally owned way more than it, I mean, come on!

This ride really has everything to make it number one coaster in the world. Even though it is short, it is so much fun to be on. You are going so fast that your skin is being pulled back.



The lines over Memorial Day weekend were under two hours. The line also moves pretty quickly, which makes re-rides more possible. This definately is my new number one coaster, as nothing can compare to this.

This is by far the best ride i have ever rode. Some say the ride is over too fast but the initail force of the Launch makes the ride worth waiting 3, 4, or even 5 hours. Also, Im sure next year a lot of the bugs will be worked out to get this Beast running constantly so it can only get better. The Only thing that is better than riding Dragster is a "Rollback" on Dragster. I had the pleasure of riding during a rollback, That was an experience I will NEVER forget.

For all u Cedar Point haters and all u lovers who eva u r u gotta get to Cedar Point n ride it. Its smoother than Goliath and more intense than Millenium Force. 10/10

I waited 5 hours...and it was so indefinately worth it! The launch, the comfortable seats.My only complaint? Little leg room. And I'm only 4'10".The view is great.15/10.

This ride far exceeded my initial expectations that I set up when I first read the press release. From the ultra-intense launch to looking down on MF from over 400 ft. in the air, this ride is nothing but sheer speed and intensity. My only negative comment is the mediocre people/minute ratio at the time . . . once the ride ops and the ride itself get into the swing of things, Dragster will definitely be the best coaster I've ever ridden!

When first hearing about this coaster I was rather skeptical about it because of it's relatively uninspired layout. However, Top Thrill Dragster is able to make a ho-hum layout into one hum-dinger of a ride. This is the most andrenalizing ride I've ever been on, and to top it all off, one of my rides on it was a rollback, so it was even better to get 2 launches for the price of 1. The frequent shutdowns are rather frustrating, but luckily one of the 3 days I spent in Cedar Point was a great day for Dragster with only a couple of delays. If it runs for an hour or so in the morning, don't give up on this coaster. It's worth every minute you wait for it.

Top Thrill Dragster is definately the number one roller coaster at Cedar Point and my number one coaster. Although the queue took three and a half hours due to some mechanical problems and rain, it was really worth it. You sit there in the lauch area, scared beyond belief. The "christmas tree" wasn't working the day I weant so I had to memorize the sounds until you launch and after it drops you back, count to three.

The launch was the best part. You have absolutely no time to realize whats going on around you, everything is a blur. Then out of no where you are looking up at the massive tower. The only thing going through my mind was, "We're not going to make it..." Then you crest the top and with great air time. You have about one second to get a view of your surroundings, then it drops you down the tower. I sat in the front and all I could see was a river. Then out of nowhere it jerks you (very smooth jerk, actually) to the right and beams and such are flying at your head. Once you dropped back to the flat track, all you can do is scream for joy. Once the train stops the whole thing is screaming and you know that everything was worth it.

I can deffinately say that Top Thrill Dragster is the best coaster in my books and I highly recommend you to ride it. You will have the time of your life.

Top Thrill Dragster is simply one of the most intense experiences I have ever had. The launch is amazing... at 120 MPH, your face WILL distort, especially when it is windy.

The view at the apex of the top hat is amazing; it's pretty freaky looking down at the entire layout of Millennium Force. The drop was sort of disappointing... it seemed almost as short as Xcelerator's. The trip down down the brake run feels just as fast as the launch, and when you finally slow down, the entire train is cheering.

Although the ride is very short and has a simplistic layout, it is still one of the best roller coasters in the world. Definitely recommended.

A park worker said that the wait for TTD should be 4 hours long at least. They lied. I went on saturday when MF was closed and it took only 2 hours to get into the station and due to weather and ignorance of riders, I boarded after 3 hours of waiting.

2 trains leave the station at once. Once my train was in launching position, I expected the "christmas tree" to countdown to the launch. It did not work and I was forced to wait without warning. You hear dragster engine sounds which is a great addition to the moment. When you launch, everything is a blur except for the track ahead of you. You feel strong positive Gs as you asscend the massive hill. Everything suddenly becomes HUGE. As you crest the hill you are launched out of your seat and are in awe of the fact that you are looking down on Millennium Force. As you spiral, you experience a nice headchopper and then hit the breaks.

Sure it is a short ride and sure it was placed in cedarpoint just to break records, but I can say that this is my new favorite steel coaster. The adreniline keeps flowing way after you leave the ride. Nothing on earth can compare to this steel monster!
