Hey, I loved Incredible Hulk but it wasn't very intense at all except for the first half. The finale is really boring. The queue is awesome like every other ride in IOA. Go ride Dueling Dragons before this.

Honestly, all I remember about this ride (I was there a year ago in May) was the cool line (in both ways) and the launch. That was the first coaster I had ever been on that had a launch, and it was awesome. But I really don't remember anything else from the ride. We enjoyed Spiderman more. (Sorry there's no Spiderman review... but I guess it isn't a coaster. Too bad, it's a fantastic ride!)

I don't think the first half of Hulk is good I think the first 5 seconds are good. Other then that it's an average big B&M with lots of inversions and stuff like that. Other than that, I still think Kumba reigns as the best B&M sitdown.

It all begins on the drive to Florida's hottest theme park, Islands of Adventure. From a distance, the striking green track can be seen (it glows eerily in the dark) and from the moment you see it you know it's unique.
On entering the park you can hear this baby roar as the anger of the Incredible Hulk is released! I went to this cool coaster as soon as the park opened so queue wasn't bad at all (about 20 minutes). However later in the day it was packed.
I will say that the theming is amazing as (the blaring televisions, loud speakers, and green, green everywhere) it totally heightens the anticipation. I felt excited and nervous at the same time. This makes waiting in line alot better.
Once you board the Hulk, the atmosphere is tense. You know the launch is coming, but when exactly? Anyway...slowly you inch up the tunnel. You hear loud voices shouting "OH NO SOMETHING'S GONE WRONG" and it's so dark and all you can hear is this sound getting louder and louder and.......
BOOM! RAAAAAAAGH(hulk yells in your ear), you positively shoot off up hill, face plastered from 4 g's of acceleration....plastered into a screaming-smile that is.
This exhilerating feeling lasts for a life time as you zoom ahead, heading for the light at the end of the tunnel...
Once you're out, (still at break-neck speeds) you're twisting into a zero-g roll 110 feet above ground...the feeling of this is magical, seriously!
After that it's all down hill and great fun. Negatives? Well it DOES loose strength at least mid-point and reaches many dead points until a surprising twist at the end. However, I was already thinking about the next ride by this point that I didn't fully enjoy the last manoever.
Fun? HELL YEAH!
Queue? Fine, worth a long wait, just hit the park early
Themeing? Excellent
Overall: One of the BEST experiences of my life, I was laughing the whole way round. Do not miss this for anything.

Universal had the perfect concept in mind, build a smooth roller coaster with a launch and inversions. They did just that, but in the process created one of the worst layouts for a B&M Looper I have ever seen. The ride's first few seconds are what make the ride with the incredible launch and the zero-g as you dive down towards the lake. After that the only parts I really liked were the second vertical loop and the pop of air coming off of the brake run. But even with its bad parts Hulk is a very fun coaster.

This is an excellent ride, with the launch, and first half over water. But the ending of the ride is what takes points away from it. The themeing is excellent, and the queue also is excellent. A must at Islands of Adventure!
